Project Overview
This animation on the Alt-Right Pipeline was created as a theoretical brief to describe how Alt-Right extremism infects individuals online through the metaphor of a corporation running the human body and mind.
Project Details
This animation was created using After Effects and Illustrator, primarily using drawn environments animated to give the impression that they're three-dimensional. Characters and their walk-cycles are all drawn frame-by-frame.
This animation was only taken to the concept stage, creating an animatic of the world-building sections before the introduction of Alt-Right ideas into the body. It aims to show how hateful ideas take root in someone who was not originally bigoted or hateful, and how powerful those ideas can be when given a chance to spread.
